Take that, racists! NBA crowd cheers return of young mariachi singer
Thu Jun 13, 2013
You know racism has reached a new low in America when precious children like De La Cruz and Amandla Stenberg (see Hunger Games racism) are racially derided for simply being adorable and great. When will the pathetic few of white America learn? You can hate, but your hate only hi …
Watch: Governor Rambo? Rick Perry styled as action hero in NRA video
Mon May 6, 2013
I can't stand Rick Perry, and the NRA is a joke. That said, there is nothing wrong with a law abiding citizen firing a weapon at a target range. Liberals should be supporting this kind of activity, not trying to demonize it, because it makes them look like "gun grabbers."
April 28: Boston and Immigration, North Carolina’s Republican revolution, and the SEC
Sat Apr 27, 2013
In reply to: wigglwagon #1 I'm sorry, were you making a point?
Gosnell's abortion clinic was a modern-day 'back alley'
Sat Apr 20, 2013
I wonder how stupid fringe right-wingers would call my argument if I said, "Women who want an abortion are still going to find a way to have one, even if illegally. Hence, why ban Roe v. Wade?" Sounds silly, right, fringe? Well, that was the main argument behind blocking background check …
He loved boxing and ‘Borat’ – but had no American friends
Fri Apr 19, 2013
In reply to: ChiGuy81 #1 First, let me say that the concept "innocent until proven guilty" has never been the case. Guilty until proven innocent is more like it. Second, there are very few journalists with "integrity" these days. Andrea Mitchell, Pete Williams, Ann Curry. Those ar …
54-46: Senators torpedo gun background checks
Wed Apr 17, 2013
In reply to: teewisted.again #1 An attack in Boston just occurred, with much of the facts still being sought. A major part of the legislative agenda for the President was up for a vote today. And you're thinking about a former foreign head of government's funeral? The President wo …
The Supreme Court takes up the Fifth Amendment: Is silence proof of guilt?
Tue Apr 16, 2013
Interesting. This is the type of supreme court case that I enjoy hearing arguments from. Still, I'm not so certain this is a fifth amendment issue. On its face, the idea that silence is proof of guilt is absolutely absurd. However, suspicious behavior in relation to a crime h …
McConnell justifies blocking gun legislation: So uncles can give their nephews guns
Thu Apr 11, 2013
Hehe, good ol' Mitch. Gotta love the guy. I mean here is a guy who has absolutely zero debate skills, yet continually manages to get re-elected. I mean, you're blocking a vote because the legislation might prevent an uncle from giving a gun to his nephew? Wow... a very compel …
Goodbye, GOP gun-control filibuster
Thu Apr 11, 2013
In reply to: teewisted.again #3.1 Good, and when the gunsales move to the parking lot, the ATF can kindly greet those illegal arms dealers with their MP5s. That's the point of the legislation. For people to comply, or face the possibility of penalty.
Scarborough slams 'shameful' GOPer for attacking Obama on entitlement reform
Thu Apr 11, 2013
In reply to: Tom Darby, radical #1 Depending on how old you are, Tom, it probably wouldn't even affect you. These entitlement proposals usually exempt individuals over the age of 55.
